Privacy Policy

Account information includes your email address, authentication provider, name, avatar, and the role, experience level, and technology preferences you choose.

If you upload a resume, Mockery extracts its text to create a bounded interview-personalization profile containing claimed skills, broad experience, projects, strengths, and suggested topics. Contact details and other personal identifiers are excluded from that profile. The original PDF, DOCX, or TXT file and its raw extracted text are discarded after analysis and are not retained.

Interview information includes generated questions, browser-created answer transcripts, answer-level feedback, scores, focus areas, and session timestamps. Mockery does not intentionally receive or store raw microphone audio.

Commerce and support information includes your selected pass, Razorpay order and payment identifiers, payment status, contact-form messages, and support correspondence. Mockery does not receive or store your full card, UPI, or banking credentials.

Technical information can include cookies needed for authentication, device and browser details, page interactions, and a one-way hash derived from your IP address to enforce the free-interview limit and prevent abuse.

Microphone access starts only after you press the recording control and grant browser permission. During the public demo, the transcript stays in your browser and is not sent to Mockery.

During a signed-in full interview, your browser creates a transcript and sends that text to Mockery for scoring. Raw audio is not uploaded or retained by Mockery. Your browser or operating-system speech service may process audio under its own privacy terms.

We use account, resume-profile, and interview data to operate the service, tailor and generate questions and feedback, show private reports and progress, enforce interview limits, process purchases, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve reliability.

Mockery does not sell personal information and does not use interview content to train a Mockery-owned foundation model.

Supabase provides authentication and database services. Google Gemini processes uploaded resume text to create the saved personalization profile and processes full-interview question and transcript prompts. Razorpay processes payments. Resend delivers contact-form email. Vercel hosts the application and provides product analytics. Google Ads measures advertising and conversion activity when enabled.

Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments. We send only the information reasonably needed for that provider's function.

Interview transcripts, reports, preferences, and a saved resume-personalization profile remain available until you remove them, delete your account, or ask us to delete them. Replacing a resume replaces the previous profile; removing it stops future resume-tailored questions. API rate-limit records are normally removed within 7 days. One-way IP-derived free-use markers may be retained for up to 24 months to prevent repeated free claims. Transaction records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

You can delete your account and associated Mockery profile, reports, and active pass data from the Interview Passes page while signed in. You can also email [email protected]. Razorpay and other processors may retain transaction records under their independent legal obligations.

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect account sessions. Vercel Analytics and Google Ads can record page views and events such as signup, demo completion, interview completion, checkout start, and payment completion. These events do not include interview transcripts.

You can restrict non-essential tracking through browser controls or content blockers. Blocking essential authentication storage can prevent signed-in features from working.

We use access controls, private report policies, encrypted HTTPS transport, server-side payment validation, and finite API allowances. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting [email protected]. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, or sensitive personal information in interview answers or support messages.
